The deadline for the budget forecast return (BFR) has been confirmed as 31st August 2023. This is later than in previous years when the deadline was late July.
It is expected that the 2023 online form will be available early June.
The main changes in the 2023 version of return are:
· new validation for the GAG income v pupil numbers reported to help improve data quality
· repositioned pupil numbers (line 999), showing this at the top of the spreadsheet before the revenue section
· a reduced series of finance questions at the top of the BFR worksheet.
