Schools’ Choice is excited to be returning the CST Finance and Operations Conference in 2025.

Taking place at the Eastside Rooms, Birmingham, on Thursday, February 6th, 2025, the Confederation of School Trusts (CST) Finance and Operations Conference brings together school trust leaders from across the country to gain valuable insights on pressing topics and challenges from renowned educational experts, connect with colleagues, and engage with providers dedicated to offering innovative and effective finance and operations services.

The theme of this year’s conference, ‘building excellence’, will explore how trusts can optimise their operational functions to build capacity, drive improvement and deliver coherent and consistent support for their schools in the new policy and funding landscape.

The conference features a comprehensive lineup of workshops and presentations from influential leaders in the sector. These will ignite thinking and encourage Trusts to consider how they can maximise operational and financial efficiencies. Sessions will explore topics such as resource, technology, data, and culture, including:

  •  The big picture: What the public spending review means for school trusts
  • Digitising the school estate: Unlocking efficiency through data
  • Deploying resources to advance education – leveraging resources to improve children’s education
  • Transforming business services to improve support for schools

As a leading supplier of education management services, Schools’ Choice is excited to attend this year’s conference to connect with education sector leaders and discuss key financial and operational priorities for the upcoming year.

Jo Spencer, Head of Schools’ Choice, said: “We’re delighted to return to the CST Finance and Operations Conference again this year to exhibit alongside some of the sector’s leading service providers. With the current budget and resourcing challenges, it’s vital for School Trusts to find the right solutions that meet their individual needs and add value. We look forward to engaging with Trust leaders to discuss the variety of services Schools’ Choice has to offer and how our efficient and effective solutions can help save both time and money.”
