Single Central Record Training

E-Learning
Virtual Event

It is often said that safeguarding begins with ensuring the required checks have been undertaken on all trusted adults who come into our schools.  This course goes through what checks are required for employees, workers and visitors.  It also covers what you should expect from your agency staff and contractors and how all these checks should be recorded.  Finally, it covers how to audit your single central record and what you should do if you find information is missing. It is for the school to decide who is the most appropriate person to attend, but it will be expected to be someone from your senior leadership such as your headteacher or school business manager. Joining details will be sent to delegates nearer to the training session. Please note that this is not a safer recruitment training course.  Each school should continue to ensure that at least one person on a recruitment panel is safer recruitment trained.
