Aims: to develop the skills and competence of experienced workers snd sessional trainers to plan and deliver safeguarding training to school based staff.

• To demonstrate awareness of the emotional impact of safeguarding training and enable others through feedback to acquire new skills • To develop knowledge and expertise in safeguarding as a resource for schools and Schools Choice.
Event Description
Delegates will receive legislation and local safeguarding updates. After attending this session Delegates will be certified to deliver the Introduction to Safeguarding training within their school. Each delegate (T4T) will receive a complete Introduction to Safeguarding training package meeting statutory requirements endorsed by the local safeguarding children’s board; to be able deliver to all school-based staff. Delegates will be certificated with their Introduction to Safeguarding, this certificate is endorsed and transferrable within Suffolk. ½ day programme This course will be delivered remotely; you will be sent a link the day before the training which will enable you to join the session
