DESCRIPTION:Train 4 Trainers Safeguarding Training  \nOutcomes \nAims: to develop the skills and competence of experienced workers and sessional trainers to plan and deliver safeguarding training to school based staff. \n\nTo build prior knowledge and experience\nTo develop an understanding of adult learning theory and how to apply this\nTo identify your own and others preferred styles of learning\nTo demonstrate awareness of the emotional impact of safeguarding training and enable others through feedback to acquire new skills • To develop knowledge and expertise in safeguarding as a resource for schools and Schools Choice.\n\nEvent Description \nDelegates will receive legislation and local safeguarding updates. After attending this session Delegates will be certified to deliver the Introduction to Safeguarding training within their school. Each delegate (T4T) will receive a complete Introduction to Safeguarding training package meeting statutory requirements endorsed by the local safeguarding children’s board; to be able deliver to all school-based staff. Delegates will be certificated with their Introduction to Safeguarding\, this certificate is endorsed and transferrable within Suffolk. ½ day programme This course will be delivered remotely; you will be sent a link the day before the training which will enable you to join the session.
